Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Lab Tech 2 for the Downtown Dallas area within the BSWH Heart Hospital. The role involves receiving and processing specimens, clerical checks, and performing phlebotomy as needed.

Shift: Day 7on7off, 3am–1:30pm. Must have at least 2 years of phlebotomy experience in a hospital setting. Department: Laboratory. Location: Dallas, TX. Benefits and growth opportunities are provided by BSWH.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience in a hospital setting.
• HS Diploma or GED required.

Responsabilités

• Receives and processes specimens and performs clerical checks as required.
• Set up specimen collection, materials and equipment for testing by Medical Technologist.
• Operates centrifuge and other laboratory equipment to complete duties.
• Maintain inventory of supplies.
• Communicate effectively with Laboratory staff and other departments.
• Participate in laboratory projects and educational activities.
