Job summary

AGP Ag Processing Inc in Hastings, NE is seeking a self-motivated Lab Tech to join our team. The role involves performing lab analyses on production and final product samples and recording results.

You will support grain receiving and daily operations, with a schedule from 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, plus every third weekend. We offer industry‑leading benefits and long-term growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Team player who takes initiative.
• Good communication skills.
• Willing to work 5:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, plus every third weekend.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform accurate lab analyses on production and final product samples.
• Record the test results in the database.
• Effectively report the results to others in a timely manner.
• Provide scale coverage as needed to support grain receiving, shipping, and daily operational activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
