Job summary

Wyetech, LLC seeks a Systems Integration Engineer (NDA2) to install, configure, develop, and integrate prototype apps for evaluation in a lab setting. You will support Linux systems, network infra, storage, PKI, and security practices while collaborating with customers and engineering teams.

The role emphasizes hands‑on troubleshooting in lab environments, including issue resolution, documentation, and migration planning to minimize disruption to operations.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux administration experience including config, maintenance, troubleshooting, performance monitoring.
• Experience installing, configuring, developing, integrating prototype apps for evaluation.
• Experience supporting lab environments, customer experiments, and testing activities.
• Experience with systems/network administration or IT support/management.
• Experience installing and maintaining hardware, servers and network infra.
• Experience configuring storage solutions including NAS.
• Experience implementing security best practices, PKI cert management.
• Knowledge of Unix shells: Bash, Bourne, or C shell.
• Troubleshoot system, app, hardware, and network integration issues.
• Understand computer systems design, information systems integration, network architecture.
• Ability to collaborate with customers and teams on development and testing.
• Must have IAT Level I cert such as Security+ CE.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, integrate, and maintain prototype apps and systems for evaluation.
• Support lab environments used for customer development and demos.
• Design and implement system and network configurations per requirements.
• Develop network architectures meeting performance, cost, security, and compatibility.
• Integrate Agency-standard networking components into designs.
• Develop migration strategies with minimal operational disruption.
• Perform Linux administration including config, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Provide network and systems administration to keep lab operations reliable.
• Install and configure servers, network infra, and storage hardware.
• Configure and maintain network-attached storage and storage resources.
• Implement cybersecurity and information assurance best practices across systems.
• Generate, deploy, and maintain PKI certificates for secure communications.
• Use Unix scripting to support admin, automation, and troubleshooting.
• Diagnose and resolve integration issues across apps, OS, network, and hardware.
• Collaborate with customers, developers, and engineers on prototypes.
• Prepare and maintain technical docs and system diagrams.
• Ensure compliance with Agency standards and government regs.
