Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking a Laboratory Support Technician IV (LST IV) to join the provider care team. You will support reports, data and scheduling, acquire specimens, and assist with various test modalities in a fast-paced laboratory setting.

The role emphasizes accurate processing and confidential handling of specimens, with responsibilities across routine testing support and collaboration with technologists and physicians.

Qualifications

• Two years phlebotomy or clinical laboratory experience or equivalent.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Previous Mercy LST III designation or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in acquisition of specimens for laboratory testing.
• Process, transport and refer laboratory specimens and reports.
• Support POC and waived testing and assist technologists and physicians as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service in line with Mercy standards.
