Mercy is seeking a Laboratory Support Technician (LST II) to join the provider care team, supporting reports, data and scheduling within the laboratory. The role emphasizes accurate specimen collection, compliant practices, and safe patient handling in a busy Mercy facility.
The LST II will demonstrate excellent customer service, observe HIPAA requirements, and complete facility competencies to advance. This is a full-time, on-site position within Mercy’s hospital network in Missouri.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: 6 months phlebotomy or clinical laboratory experience of successful completion of a clinical training program.
Other: The LST II position must: satisfactorily complete the specific facility competencies, including but not limited to checklist, written examination, management observation, etc., to be eligible for advancement to the next higher job description.
