Job summary

VK CONSULTING SERVICES is seeking a polytechnic graduate to support lab operations, system maintenance, software installations, and test bench readiness. This onsite role in the Phoenix area requires 1–3 years of industry experience and a strong foundation in Windows systems and IT basics.

The candidate will install, configure, and maintain Windows environments, deploy software, patch systems, and assist with lab infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Polytechnic Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and software applications.
• Perform software upgrades, patch installations, and new release deployments.
• Support basic connectivity and setup of laboratory equipment, switches, controllers, drives, and related hardware.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and software issues within the lab environment.
• Prepare, organise, and restore test benches and test beds for subsequent team usage.
• Ensure lab infrastructure and equipment are maintained in a functional state.
• Coordinate with engineering and support teams for setup readiness and issue resolution.
• Maintain documentation of installations, configurations, and lab setup activities.

• Basic understanding of networking and equipment connectivity.
• Ability to work independently in a laboratory environment.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in IT Service Desk, Technical Support, Lab Support, or Desktop Support roles.
• Experience supporting engineering or test laboratory environments.
• Local candidates residing close to the Phoenix/Deer Valley area are preferred.
