Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc. is seeking a Lab Associate I in Lewisville, TX (Tue–Sat, 4:00 AM–12:30 PM) to support clinical laboratory operations in Flow Cytometry. You will prepare samples, label and transport specimens, maintain reagents, perform data entry, and assist licensed personnel while ensuring accuracy and safety.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to lab policies, and a willingness to handle routine analytical tasks across the pre-analytic process.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of operating non-complex equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and organizes samples for testing, including racking, aliquoting and tube preparation.
• Labeling, handling, processing or preparation, and transportation and storage of specimens.
• Maintains inventory of consumables and orders reagents/supplies.
• Performs data entry and LIS accessioning.
• Assists licensed personnel or supervised staff in pre- and post-analytic activities.
• Ensures confidentiality of client information and maintains neat, organized lab areas.
