Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Lab Associate I in Lewisville, TX to support the clinical laboratory under supervision. You will prepare and organize samples, label and handle specimens, perform data entry, and assist with quality control in a fast-paced environment.

The role runs Tuesday to Saturday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with benefits starting Day 1, and opportunities for career advancement within the organization.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of operating non-complex equipment.
• Must be able to perform data entry and maintain accurate laboratory records.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team and management.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and organizes samples for testing and aliquoting.
• Labels, handles, processes, transports and stores specimens.
• Maintains inventory of consumables and orders supplies as needed.
• Performs data entry to LIS and assists with quality control procedures.
• Supports licensed personnel and assists in pre-analytic and post-analytic activities.
