Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 3 years experience in specimen processing in an outpatient or hospital laboratory.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead duties in the absence of the supervisor or manager.
• Process specimens and ensure accuracy in lab data.
• Operate multiple computer systems (HIS/LIS) with accuracy.
• Provide customer service while maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
• Train new staff and participate in shift hand-offs.
