Job summary

Intuitive Health seeks a Lab Supervisor II to lead the technical operations at Freestanding Emergency/Urgent Care facilities. You will supervise staff, coordinate laboratory functions, ensure timely and accurate testing, and manage cost centers in collaboration with the CLIA Lab Director.

Travel between sites is required. Requirements include a Bachelor’s in health care administration or related field (Master’s preferred), 5+ years as a Technologist, and prior supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health care administration or related field preferred.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• Experience as a Technologist and prior supervision is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day technical operations of assigned facilities to maximize service while minimizing cost.
• Ensure accurate, adequate laboratory services are provided timely.
• Travel between labs as needed on a regular basis.
• Oversee receipt and acceptance or rejection of lab specimens.
• Perform high to moderate complexity procedures in multiple lab disciplines.
• Develop and manage cost center budgets and staff schedules.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA policies and regulatory requirements.
• Write, review and implement lab policies and procedures.
• Participate in monthly governing board and quality assurance meetings.
• Maintain high standards of patient-focused service and safety.
