Job summary

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, identify, sort, and triage specimens for clinical testing.
• Accurately process patient specimens according to laboratory procedures.
• Enter and manage clinical information in the LIMS database.
• Verify specimen information and ensure accurate documentation.
• Perform internal audits of clinical charts and laboratory records.
• Ensure specimens are properly labeled, stored, and routed to appropriate departments.
• Collaborate with laboratory teams to support testing accuracy and timely processing.
• Maintain high accuracy while meeting productivity and turnaround-time requirements.
• Follow laboratory safety, quality, and compliance procedures.
• Identify and escalate specimen discrepancies or issues as needed.
