Actalent is seeking a Lab Assistant / Specimen Processor in Stilwell, KS to support laboratory operations by receiving and preparing samples, logging data, and maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

You will blend materials into powder form for testing, enter data into the tracking system, and help ensure clean, organized workspaces while following safety protocols. This contract-to-hire role is onsite with a starting pay of $19.00 per hour.

Qualificações

• Interest in gaining hands-on laboratory experience.
• Ability to follow safety protocols when handling chemicals or hazardous waste.
• Strong organizational skills for logging and storage of samples.
• Ability to work independently after training while collaborating with the team.
• Professional communication with employees and visitors.

Responsabilidades

• Receive residue samples from trucks and sources promptly.
• Log and store samples accurately per procedures.
• Mix and blend samples into powder form for testing.
• Enter data into the sample tracking system accurately.
• Maintain well-documented records for projects per SOPs.
• Meet daily sample throughput after training.
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining quality.
• Keep workspace clean and orderly in all areas.
• Assist team with additional duties as directed.
• Keep equipment in good order and perform basic maintenance.
• Monitor supply levels and reorder as needed.
• Follow verbal and written instructions for basic tasks.
• Ensure precise data entry into the tracking system.
• Document tasks per SOPs and maintain traceability.
• Multitask across projects in a regulated lab environment.
• Remain compliant with safety and quality standards.
