Job summary

Health Care Administrators Association is seeking a reliable Lab Courier to transport clinical specimens, supplies, and mail to laboratories with accuracy and timeliness. You will follow routes, verify labels, and maintain safety and vehicle readiness.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, a clean MVR, and strong communication, judgment, and teamwork to support daily lab operations and customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and a clean MVR.
• Ability to operate vehicles safely in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Route Management: Efficiently perform designated routes, adjust dynamically to meet client needs, and maintain scheduled stops.
• Specimen Handling: Verify proper labeling, ensure specimen integrity, and prioritize customer service.
• Transportation & Maintenance: Safely operate vehicles up to 650 miles per shift, follow all traffic laws, maintain cleanliness, report issues promptly, and ensure vehicles are fueled and parked correctly.
• Documentation & Communication: Log all stops and deliveries accurately using tracking devices, communicate effectively with team members and clients, and stay informed of operational updates.
