Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Courier to join our team in Altoona, PA. You will be responsible for the pickup, transport, and delivery of medical specimens and lab supplies, maintaining compliance with safety and traffic rules throughout the route. A company vehicle is provided, with optional personal use for $125 per month.

Ideal candidates are punctual, with strong time-management and customer service skills. No education required, though a High School Diploma or GED is preferred; 21+ and a valid

Qualifications

• Must be punctual with strong time management skills.
• 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and handle lab-related materials safely.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred, not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Load all necessary suppliers for daily pickups.
• Complete daily pickup schedule.
• Deliver daily picks to the assigned branch.
• Handle specimens and lab samples safely.
• Safely operate a company vehicle and follow traffic laws.
• Use handheld device to manage pickups.
• Coordinate with dispatcher for additional pickups.
• Assess traffic patterns, routes and weather conditions.
