Job summary

ProHealth Physicians, part of Optum, seeks a Transportation Specialist to drive a company vehicle on a set route, delivering mail and supplies and picking up specimens for lab processing. Schedule is 10 hours per week with hours between 8:30am and 9:30pm to be determined at hire.

Responsibilities include completing route sheets, checking specimen boxes, ensuring proper storage and maintaining a clean vehicle. Must have a HS diploma, a valid license, and a good driving record.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• Current motor vehicle record in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up mail and supplies to the offices.
• Pick up specimens and store appropriately for transport.
• Fill out route sheet completely and accurately.
• Go to each stop on the route sheet and check every specimen box for specimens.
• Complete sign-in sheet with return time and number of specimens.
• Adapt to scheduling changes due to weather, holidays or traffic.
• Operate a company owned vehicle following all state laws.
• Perform safety checks and ensure proper storage of specimens.
