Job summary

RTX is actively seeking a Principal Lab Solutions Integration and Modernization Specialist to join the Digital Operations Factory & Lab Modernization team. You will design and integrate secure IT environments across unclassified labs and IRAD efforts, collaborating with engineering teams to meet time-sensitive, mission-critical needs.

The role requires strong Windows/Linux administration, network expertise, and the ability to guide cyber hygiene and compliance processes.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years of related work.
• Windows and/or Linux user experience.
• 2+ years of administration experience for Windows and Linux.
• Experience with networking concepts (DNS, IP, TCP, switches, firewalls, etc.).
• Experience mentoring others and/or leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Unclassified shared Eng labs asset integration.
• Logical and physical network solution design.
• Research and development for integration of lab assets with Enterprise Services.
• Deployment and support for engineering lab assets integration.
• Network and system analysis to identify integration challenges and provide solutions.
• Maintain designs to support basic cyber hygiene of lab assets.
• Script coding to support admin tasks (optional).
• Help enhance cyber compliance documentation and processes.
• Coordinate technical and process document reviews.
• Lead technical meetings with team members and other program personnel.
• Provide IT systems administration in Windows, RedHat Linux and Ubuntu environments.
• Learn daily and apply critical thinking to resolve time-sensitive issues.
