Job summary

Fulgent Genetics is seeking a Shipping Support role to assist in returning client results and materials. You will track shipments, log details, and ensure accurate labeling and case completion in the LIS, while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

Under supervision, you will handle FedEx/LIS tasks and respond to Shipping Help requests. A background in laboratory settings and strong attention to detail are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, vocational education or higher, some college preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
• High attention to detail.
• Laboratory/medical knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensures paraffin block(s) and stained slides are returned to the client in a timely fashion, based on case type.
• Enters shipments in the Fed Ex manager and prints Air Bill labels for shipping pouches.
• Accurately notes shipping details in the case and then completes the case in the LIS, when applicable.
• Reconciles empty boxes and disposes of damaged boxes.
• Ensures returned ice packs are placed in the freezer for reuse.
• Monitors, responds, and completes "Shipping Help" requests.
• Maintains clean work areas.
• Provides related responsibilities as required.
