Holt Precision Inc. is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to support daily shipping, receiving, packaging, and inventory movement across South Windsor, CT and West Springfield, MA.

The role ensures accurate documentation, proper routing, and timely handling of customer equipment, parts, and materials, while maintaining organized work areas and safe operations. You will collaborate with lab, production, and service teams, report to the operations manager, and help meet turnaround times and

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics preferred.
• Accurate handling of paperwork, labels, packing slips, and tracking information.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to lift and move equipment safely.
• Basic computer skills including email and shipment tracking.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming customer equipment, parts, supplies, and materials.
• Inspect incoming shipments for damage or documentation issues.
• Document received items in the tracking system.
• Route items to correct department or location.
• Package and prepare outgoing shipments per requirements.
• Create shipping labels, packing slips, and related documents.
• Coordinate daily carrier pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain organized shipping and receiving areas at South Windsor, CT.
• Provide shipping support for West Springfield, MA as needed.
• Assist with transferring equipment between locations.
• Communicate shipment issues to managers.
