Job summary

Regions Hospital is seeking a Laboratory Service Technician to provide a broad range of lab services, including specimen collection and phlebotomy, client service, and testing. The role involves phlebotomy, specimen processing, dispatching, and ensuring efficient workflows across departments.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, health care experience with phlebotomy, and completion of a health care program (e.g., CMA, EMT, Paramedic, or phlebotomy).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Health care experience including phlebotomy preferred.
• Completion of a health care program (e.g. CMA, EMT, Paramedic, phlebotomy) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Specimen collection.
• Client service and reception duties, ordering/scheduling/billing functions.
• Laboratory testing.
• Phlebotomy, dispatching.
• Specimen processing.
• Centrifuging, delivery of specimens to appropriate lab/ department.
• Assuring proper efficiency and workflow management and ECG tracings.
