Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Chemistry, Biological Science, or related field preferred.
  • 0–2 years of experience; 2+ years in materials or consumables management within a GMP‑regulated environment preferred.
  • Conducts analytical testing using standard laboratory techniques.
  • Maintains and troubleshoots laboratory equipment with minimal supervision.
  • Accurately manages documentation for quality incidents and CAPAs.
  • Familiar with ERP systems (SAP, JDE) and inventory tools (Ariba).

Responsibilities

  • Manage documentation related to quality incidents and CAPAs.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and issues in laboratory or manufacturing processes.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control methods.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve consumable‑related quality issues, including deviations and CAPAs.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Monitor and manage consumables inventory to ensure timely availability for testing workflows.
  • Maintain accurate records of consumable specifications, change controls, and notifications in alignment with GMP and SOPs.
  • Support consumable change control processes driven by internal updates or external requirements.
  • Assist during regulatory inspections by providing documentation and subject matter support.
  • Work closely with analysts, supply chain teams, and quality groups to align consumable planning and quality expectations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve consumable handling processes and contribute to quality and efficiency initiatives.
  • Support completion of deviations and laboratory investigations as needed.

As an entry‑level professional, you will apply foundational scientific and operational principles to real‑world laboratory workflows while supporting uninterrupted testing and analytical activities.

Education & Experience

  • Follows detailed instructions to uphold quality and safety.
Physical Demands
  • Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 35 lbs.
  • Unpack pallets and stock shelves.
  • Must have corrected 20/20 near vision and distinguish red, yellow, and blue.
  • Work in controlled environments with required gowning and PPE.
  • No contact lenses, make‑up, jewelry, nail polish, or artificial nails when applicable.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the facility.
  • May enter cold/wet areas and climb stairs or ladders.
  • Work around chemicals requiring appropriate protection.
  • May require shift work, off‑shift hours, or supplemental hours.
  • Work in confined areas, clean rooms, and temperature‑controlled storage.
