Job summary

Community Health Of South Florida Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Services Support Staff member in Miami to assist in collecting and preparing specimens for testing. You will perform waived tests under supervision, manage billing tasks, and coordinate document flow with data processing.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a standard high school or GED equivalent.
• Six (6) months phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Certified Lab Assistant or Certified Phlebotomist.
• Experience with Medicaid/Medicare, Kid Care and other health insurance, sliding fee scale.

Responsibilities

• Performs blood drawing and processing duties for routine tests.
• Prepare blood samples for testing and ensure correct labeling.
• Post laboratory charges into Intergy and assist with billing.
• Maintain logs, schedules, and orderly lab workspace.
• Provide patient instruction for specimen collection and prepare waivers/tests.
