Job summary

Naples Comprehensive Health - NCH is seeking a Manager Lab Services to oversee Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation, and related sections. Duties include supervising staff, ensuring QA/QC, maintenance, and compliance with CAP/CLIA guidelines.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Laboratory Science, FL MLS Supervisor license, and at least 5 years’ technologist experience with 1+ year supervisory background. Strong IT skills and cost-conscious staffing are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Laboratory Science or related discipline.
• State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Supervisor License in all areas of the Laboratory.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Medical Technologist or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year’s supervisory experience is preferred.
• Intermediate computer knowledge: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.

Responsibilities

• Develops policies and procedures per CAP/CLIA/JCAHO/AHCA/OSHA/CDC/WHO guidelines.
• Oversees daily technical operations and quality assurance of lab areas; schedules staff.
• Manages staff selection, training, coaching and corrective action with lab director support.
• Ensures department adherence to CAP/CLIA/JCAHO/AHCA standards; prepares inspections.
• Performs competency assessments and maintains documentation for all tests.
