Job summary

Roche Holding AG in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Lab Scientist Professional to perform high complexity tests and support Clinical Validation, with strict adherence to protocols and regulatory guidelines.

You will document results, participate in panel build and sample processing, and collaborate across teams. A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences and 2 years lab experience are required; domestic travel up to 10% is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological/Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field or equivalent education/work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of basic laboratory experience in academic or industry setting.
• Experience documenting Clinical Trial activities in Case Report Forms, Sample Accountability, and Investigational Material Accountability Logs.
• Ability to apply broad concepts of specialization to resolve problems and work under supervision.
• Ability to multi-task and collaborate with individuals or teams outside immediate area.

Responsibilities

• Perform high complexity laboratory testing on clinical specimens and evaluate QC/tests against acceptance criteria.
• Support Clinical Testing Site activities by performing Clinical Validation testing and documenting all applicable materials.
• Comply with study protocols, IRBs, MOIs, Test Instructions, and CFR/ICH guidelines.
• Use technical writing and Good Documentation Practices for project documentation and timely recording of methods/results.
• Participate in routine lab maintenance, safety, ISO and QSR; follow internal safety guidelines and external regulations.
