Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions is seeking a Lab Robotics and Automation Engineer to join a growing team at a client site in West Point, PA. The role focuses on building, operating, and maintaining robotic platforms for high-throughput sample analysis in a fast-paced GXP environment.

You will contribute to independent work and team collaboration, participate in validation processes for automated systems, and document experiments using ELN and LIMS.

Qualifications

• AS degree with 3–5 years robotics/automation experience.
• BS in Life Sciences, Engineering or equivalent with 1–2 years experience.
• Authorization to work in the country indefinitely without sponsorship.
• May work with potentially infectious samples and hazardous chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer satisfaction by listening to and exceeding customer expectations.
• Work independently and in a team with integrity and adaptability.
• Participate in computer system validation for automated lab equipment.
• Develop knowledge of lab equipment such as liquid handlers and Luminex/PCR instruments.
• Maintain and operate automated processing and IT systems.
• Calibrate and verify analytical instruments and liquid handling platforms.
• Troubleshoot errors with quick resolution.
• Document findings using ELN/LIMS and related tools.
• Perform ligand-binding and PCR assays per SOPs in a GLP/GMP setting.
• Cross-train to support other functions as needed.
