Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a Network Administrator to sustain and operate Cisco-based lab infrastructure for a DoD engineering environment. You will patch, validate, troubleshoot, and document network systems to ensure security and readiness for engineering and testing activities.

The role requires hands-on lab work, collaboration with engineers, and adherence to DoD security requirements. A Secret clearance and related certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years configuring and maintaining Cisco enterprise networks
• Experience with patching, upgrades, backups and validation
• Knowledge of Layer 2/3 networking (VLANs, IP addressing, OSPF)
• Experience with DoD cyber compliance (IAVM, STIGs) and lab/systems sustainment
• Secret clearance and HS diploma/GED required
• DoD IAT II certs incl. Security+ and CCNA

Responsibilities

• Maintain Cisco-based lab network infrastructure and support devices
• Coordinate patching and post-upgrade validation activities
• Perform IAVM/DoD compliance tasks and document findings
• Troubleshoot network issues and maintain up-to-date technical documentation
