Job summary

Family Care Network seeks a Laboratory Services Technical Quality Supervisor or Technical Quality Specialist to oversee the lab's quality program and staff. The role ensures regulatory compliance, QC/QA oversight, and acts as a technical resource for Lab personnel.

The position reports to the Laboratory Services Manager, supports instrument maintenance, QA metrics, and the implementation of new processes and LIS-related initiatives within a patient‑care centered environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge with ASCP certification preferred.
• Certification required within 6 months if not currently certified.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality control and quality assurance programs in the lab.
• Lead day-to-day lab operations under Laboratory Services Manager.
• Develop and update lab procedures and policies.
• Manage instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate staffing, training, and on-call rotation.
• Support readiness for external surveys and inspections.
