Job summary

Downtown Evansville Inc, through Deaconess Clinic Labs, seeks a Lab QA Regulatory Specialist to ensure compliance with CAP, COLA, and CLIA regulations. The role provides oversight for accreditation programs and quality assurance activities across the laboratory operations.

This position leads the QA program, coordinates data gathering and meetings, and offers continuing education for staff while orienting new employees to the procedures and standards required by regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with CAP, COLA, and CLIA regulations.
• Oversee COLA accreditation for Deaconess Clinic Lab-West, Gateway, Reo, and Downtown.
• Supervise non-laboratory POC testing.
• Manage the laboratory QA program, including data gathering, analysis, and meetings.
• Provide continuing education opportunities for staff.
• Orient new employees as needed.
