Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years healthcare or related field experience or combination of education and experience.
• Clerical or client services experience.
• Familiarity with MSP, EMTALA, ABN, HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, and label laboratory specimens accurately and timely.
• Register outpatient encounters and collect complex demographic, insurance, and medical information.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of required registration functions and use multiple computer applications to complete patient encounters.
• Collaborate with caregivers, vendors, consultants and Laboratory Services staff.
