Job summary

Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center is seeking a Lab Assistant – Processing (PRN 1st shift) to ensure proper receipt of specimens and paperwork into the Laboratory. The role supports clinical areas as needed and helps maintain a clean, organized lab environment.

This PRN schedule requires flexibility, with 1-2 days a week and weekend coverage possible; 1st shift is 7:00am–3:30pm. Applicants must have a high school diploma and BLS within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists in putting away supplies delivered to the Laboratory.
• Assists technical staff in appointed department.
• Disposes of lab specimens daily.
• Enters/completes LabOps issues as necessary.
• Fills clients supply requests.
• Maintains the Lab in a neat and orderly fashion.
