Job summary

Veolia is hiring for a Lab Pack Chemist in San Jose, CA, supporting the Clean Earth integration. You will handle hazardous materials, inventory, labeling, and packing according to Lab Pack policies and regulations. A CDL B is required within 6 months, and 20% overnight travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience handling hazardous materials in compliance with regulations.
• Ability to prepare shipments with proper labeling and documentation.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record and ability to travel 20% overnight.

Responsibilities

• Handle hazardous materials including inventorying, identifying, segregating, and packaging waste per policy.
• Perform onsite services such as waste collection, sampling, and safety inspections.
• Prepare shipment of packaged waste with proper labeling and loading.
• Maintain documentation including shipping papers, LDRs, and certifications.
