Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to oversee the clinical laboratory and laboratory support functions within the VIPMS Laboratories. You will coordinate activities across multiple labs, ensure policy and procedure updates, and maintain compliance with CLIA and OSHA regulations.

As part of the VIPMS team, you will work with Health Record Systems to interface with lab data, support staff development, and drive continuous improvement in testing quality and safety across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 3 years of relevant work experience in a laboratory supervisory role.
• Experience coordinating multiple laboratory functions and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of one or more laboratories to ensure unity of operation.
• Develop and update area-specific policy and procedures.
• Ensure CLIA and OSHA compliance and manage site inspections.
• Support health record interfaces with outside lab vendors and equipment.
• Oversee bi-annual OSHA inspections and regular quality audits.
