Job summary

Wisconsin Diagnostic Laboratories (WDL) is seeking a Technical-Administrative Supervisor for Client Services on a full-time, 1st shift. The role oversees technical operations, scheduling, QA, and staff performance in alignment with the Manager and Section Directors.

The incumbent will maintain policies, run payroll data, update manuals, support QA/QC, and drive process improvements across shifts and sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant laboratory science field.
• ASCP certification within one year from date of hire.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and assists the manager in daily operations, ensuring workflow efficiency and policy adherence.
• Prepares and maintains monthly staff schedules based on workload and union contracts.
• Maintains departmental inventory and places orders as needed.
• Ensures timely payroll data submission and accurate timekeeping records.
• Updates and enforces laboratory procedures, safety, and QA/QC standards.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science / Microbiology / Biology / Chemistry
