Job summary

CompuNet Clinical Laboratories is seeking a Manager - Lab Operations to oversee daily lab activities in Cincinnati, OH. This full-time day-shift role includes bench work as needed, regional travel between sites, and occasional travel to Dayton.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience required.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and abilities.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with people.
• Schedule flexibility required for meetings and employee interactions across all shifts.
• Sound judgment and ability to work under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, supervision, and support laboratory staff in alignment with mission, vision, and values.
• Communicate work assignments, workflow expectations, priorities, and responsibilities.
• Assist in staffing, bench assignments, and timekeeping.
• Coach, mentor, and evaluate staff; administer corrective action when needed.
• Manage departmental budgets, expenses, and FTE allocations.
• Maintain competency and perform duties of laboratory staff.
• Support quality assurance, compliance, and accreditation readiness.
• Develop and maintain laboratory policies and documentation.

Education

Medical Laboratory Science degree (MLT/MT)

ASCP registration preferred
