Job summary

Christian Hospital in Florissant, MO is seeking a Generalist with Blood Bank experience to join the laboratory team. Day shift, Mon–Fri, 40 hours per week, with rotating weekends/holidays. ASCP certification strongly preferred.

You will coordinate technical activities, perform routine and advanced testing, and mentor staff to ensure quality and CAP readiness. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Physical/Life Science and 2–5 years of lab experience; MT/MLS—ASCP or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical/Life Science or related field.
• 2-5 years of laboratory experience.
• MT/MLS - ASCP or equiv certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the technical activities of the department and ensures CAP readiness.
• Performs routine and advanced testing on blood and specimens.
• Teaches and mentors staff and participates in competency assessments.
