Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking a contractor to support the Commercial Attribute Sciences (CAS) team in West Greenwich, RI. The role focuses on laboratory operations, including preparing mobile phases, buffers, and reagents, plus receiving and organizing samples to support testing workflows.

Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, calibrations, data recording in ELN, inventory management, and ensuring a safe, inspection-ready lab environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, or a related technical discipline.
• 0-2 years of laboratory experience in academic, industrial, or regulated environments.
• Experience with pH meters, balances, pipettes, and related laboratory instrumentation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow written procedures and maintain documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mobile phases, buffers, reagents, and laboratory solutions according to approved procedures.
• Receive, label, log, organize, and distribute samples to support testing activities.
• Operate laboratory equipment including pH meters, balances, and pipettes.
• Perform routine calibration, verification, and maintenance for pH meters, balances, and other equipment.
• Generate complete, accurate documentation using ELN and electronic systems.
• Order, stock, and maintain laboratory chemicals, consumables, and supplies.
• Maintain laboratory housekeeping and ensure safety and readiness.
• Complete training requirements and maintain qualification status for tasks.
• Follow safety guidelines, procedures, and site practices.
• Maintain training records, equipment logbooks, and documentation.
• Collaborate with scientists and cross-functional partners to support schedules.
• Support additional laboratory operations as priorities evolve.
