Job summary

Eateam is seeking an Analytical Chemistry Technician to support chemical testing in an R&D laboratory focusing on chromatography and spectroscopy. Candidates must have at least an Associate’s Degree in Chemistry or a Technical degree in Analytical Testing, along with 2 years of industrial experience in HPLC and/or UPLC.

This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. The technician will also conduct routine maintenance and participate in method validation to ensure compliance.

Job Description

• The Analytical Chemistry Technician will work in an R&D laboratory to support chemical testing using chromatography and spectroscopy.
• Minimum of Associate’s Degree in Chemistry or 2 year Technical degree in Analytical Testing.
• Minimum of 2 years industrial experience in the use of HPLC and/or UPLC.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is a must.
• Ability to understand and execute test procedures.
• Demonstrated attention to details and very organized.
• Co‑ordinate and prioritize sample analysis in consultation with other laboratory personnel.
• Conduct investigations of laboratory incidents and the investigation of out-of-specification and out-of-trend results.
• Document investigations in a clear, accurate and concise fashion.
• Perform routine maintenance activities in the laboratory and participate in the qualification and periodic calibration of equipment.
• Participate in method transfer studies and in other laboratory testing to support compliance (e.g., testing of product validation samples).
• Write protocols and execute analytical method validations.
• Develop and execute testing protocols.
• Support exploratory testing to define test equipment, test fixtures and test methods development.
• Participate in training, test methods validation, and execution of testing as needed.
• Write engineering test reports and final test reports.
