Join to apply for the Lab Operations Associate role at Actalent

We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Laboratory Materials Associate to support our Research and Development laboratories. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting the day-to-day operations of a Biology/Cell Culture lab, including restocking supplies, managing shipping and receiving, conducting inventory counts, reordering, and processing incoming inventory. There are also opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement projects and support additional Supply Chain duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine onsite supply chain responsibilities daily, following SOPs.
• Order and restock lab supplies.
• Manage shipping and receiving.
• Reconcile invoices.
• Repack and store inventory.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts.
• Collaborate with teams to improve processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• At least 2 years of laboratory/inventory/supply chain experience.
• BS or Associate Degree in laboratory science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing lab operations.
• Teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in startup/life science or gene therapy fields is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
• Experience across multiple locations.
• Strong communication and independence skills.
• Attention to detail, resourcefulness, organizational skills.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Availability for on-call, after-hours, or weekend work occasionally.

Work Environment

Onsite in Louisville, CO, with flexible start times. The environment is dynamic, relationship-focused, and hands-on.

Pay and Benefits

Hourly pay: $24.50 - $31.95. Benefits include health, retirement, insurance, paid time off, and more, subject to eligibility and change.
