Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in Austin is seeking a Lab Support Technician to help operate a post-silicon validation lab. You will collaborate with validation partners and ensure lab workflows run smoothly onsite at the Austin site.

Responsibilities include tracking lab assets, coordinating equipment calibration with third-party vendors, handling purchasing, conducting lab audits, performing minor repairs, coordinating with other labs on site and remotely, and shipping equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or Electronics Technician certification required.
• Minimum 5 years of lab support or electronics lab experience.
• Familiarity with lab equipment and asset management tools.
• Proficient with spreadsheets and office applications.
• Strong scheduling, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Vendor management experience preferred.

• Support engineers in a post-silicon validation lab.

As part of an SoC validation team, the candidate will be required to support the operation of a validation lab. The candidate will also be expected to work effectively with various validation partners. Work will be onsite at the Austin NXP site.
