Qualifications

• 6 months phlebotomy or laboratory-related experience.
• HS diploma or GED required; related bachelor's may substitute.
• Ability to communicate with nursing, physicians and staff.

Responsibilities

• Collect, receive and process inpatient and outpatient specimens for testing.
• Communicate with nursing regarding patient specimens.
• Refer specimens to outside laboratories as needed.
• Perform phlebotomy procedures and other duties as assigned.
