Job summary

CTI Calibration Technologies, LLC seeks a Lab Manager to lead the development of next-generation electrochemical gas sensors and oversee daily sensor production.

You will supervise sensor testing, calibration, and data collection, while ensuring safety compliance and process transfer to Production. A strong technical background and leadership experience are essential for guiding a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a technical field.
• 3–5 years of laboratory management experience preferred.
• Experience with instrumentation, gas analysis, or sensor testing beneficial.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with ISO-style Quality Systems and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead sensor R&D and development timelines with product and commercial teams.
• Oversee lab operations, testing, calibration, and data integrity of experiments.
• Enforce safety standards for hazardous gases and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Support manufacturing by transferring processes and owning cell parameters and test content.
• Manage inventory, budgeting, and equipment procurement with leadership.
• Provide mentorship, performance reviews, and scheduling for staff and students.
