Job summary

ARSIEM Corporation seeks a Lab Manager II in Arlington, VA to lead Linux/Unix administration for the TEN lab supporting a government client. The role involves system administration, security, and automation across OpenShift, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and Podman.

The position requires collaboration across locations, DoD IAT Level II, and an active clearance or ability to obtain TS/SCI. Expect tight integration with customers and ongoing lab enhancements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Linux System Administrator experience.
• MacOS and iOS experience required.
• BS CS or related degree; or HS Diploma with 4+ years lab management experience.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced analytical skills to implement infrastructure solutions
• Support new technologies and equipment in lab environment
• Provide ongoing systems administration, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting
• Provide Linux/Unix system administration for TEN infrastructure
• Manage project components to meet objectives
• Advise on lab SOPs and policies
• Maintain configuration and support documentation
• Use security concepts to mitigate vulnerabilities
• Configure and deploy across Windows, macOS, Linux/Unix, and virtual environments
• Monitor Red Hat platforms and report findings daily
• Create automation solutions with OpenShift, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Podman
• Integrate COTS, GOTS, and third-party apps into OpenShift
• Develop automation for deploying systems to virtual/physical devices
• Implement granular access control and monitor performance
• Troubleshoot storage issues and monitor network/storage problems
• Identify opportunities to improve procedures with customer approval
