Stanford University School of Medicine is seeking a Life Science Research Professional 2/Lab Manager to perform defined research projects and independently conduct experiments. The role involves managing lab activities, maintaining stock and safety records, and supporting budget and procurement under the PI.

The candidate should have at least 2 years of research or lab management experience, familiarity with confocal microscopy, rodent colonies, and tissue culture techniques to drive research on

Competenze

• At least 2 years of research and/or lab management experience.
• Experience with confocal microscope maintenance.
• Experience working with rodents, colony maintenance and behavior testing.
• Experience with tissue culture, basic molecular biology and cell biology techniques.

Mansioni

• Independently conduct a portion of the research project(s).
• Perform ongoing laboratory duties including maintenance of lab stock and safety records.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of the laboratory and assist with purchasing equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with principal investigator and health/safety to ensure compliance with regulations.
