The University at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine, seeks a highly organized Sr Research Support Specialist to join the Periodontics research laboratory in the Department of Periodontics and Endodontics.

Reporting to the Principal Investigator, Renato Casarin, you will oversee day‑to‑day lab operations, coordinate research activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and supervise research staff and students.

Job description

The University at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine, is seeking a highly organized and motivated Sr Research Support Specialist to join the Periodontics research laboratory in the Department of Periodontics and Endodontics. The laboratory studies exposures relate to oral and systemic outcomes, including animal studies and human translational research.

The Lab Manager Will

• Oversee day-to-day laboratory operations,
• coordinate research activities and data management,
• maintain regulatory and safety compliance,
• and supervise and train research staff and students.

Reporting to the Principal Investigator, Renato Casarin, the researcher will be central to keeping the lab’s projects running smoothly, on schedule, and in compliance.
