Job summary

Tekgence Inc. in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support a System Products Team during a 6-month development phase.

You will handle inventory, shipping, and logistics coordination for lab and datacenter environments, ensuring smooth material flows to engineers. You will deploy and service lab equipment, conduct periodic audits, and collaborate with Logistics, Engineering, Technicians and Management.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 5+ years relevant experience, including 2+ years in IT inventory/logistics and lab/datacenter environments.
• Proficient in Asset Management, Control, Audit, and IT applications (Slack, Teams, Microsoft Office).
• Experienced with material handling equipment including manual pallet jacks.
• Self-starter who is organized, diligent, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong collaborator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handling inventory operations including shipping, receiving, staging, audits, and documentation
• Deploying, setting up and servicing lab test equipment within several lab sites
• Collaborating with teams across Logistics, Engineering, Technicians, Management on logistics requests
• Carrying out periodic audits, cleanup, and improvements to processes for labs and datacenters
• Handling e-waste storage/disposal per guidelines and lifting up to 50 lbs

Job Description:

We are recruiting a Logistics Specialist for a System Products Team to provide lab support. This newest member will assist a creative multidisciplinary team of engineers who build and improve best-class GPU accelerated computing products. This role will perform inventory, handle shipping, and coordinate logistics activities. The primary responsibility is to provide assistance in the coordination of shipments and inventory control to engineering teams during the development phase. The new logistics team member will independently complete daily tasks based on priorities and should be comfortable working within lab and datacenter settings.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Handling inventory operations including shipping, receiving, staging, audits, and documentation
• Deploying, setting up and servicing lab test equipment within several lab sites
• Collaborating with teams across multiple functions (Logistics, Engineering, Technicians, Management) on logistics requests
• Carrying out periodic audits, cleanup, and improvements to processes for labs and datacenters
• Handling e-waste storage/disposal per guidelines and physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
