Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced engineer to advance electrical testing of high-reliability, radiation-hardened microelectronics used in DoD systems. Responsibilities include designing test interfaces, PCBs, and automated test software, plus contributing to test documentation and reviews.

The role requires a BS in electrical engineering with 10+ years in microelectronics, strong lab skills, and the ability to work across functions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and ten years’ relevant experience with microelectronics and/or electronic components.
Experience with lab test equipment such as oscilloscopes, meters, and analyzers.
Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance (Interim clearance required to start). US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

Design, development, and simulation of test circuits for characterization and evaluation of microelectronic components.
Design and development of printed circuit boards.
Design and development of automated test programs.
Data collection on test components and data reviews performed by others.
Assist in the preparation of reports and correspondence.
Develop, maintain and produce technical documentation and system/subsystem specifications.
Interface with customers in design reviews and technical working group meetings to comply with requirements and specifications.
