Job summary

Requires a high school diploma or GED; an Associate’s or BS degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates or BS degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a laboratory setting preferred.
• Organization and documentation experience required.
• Online research of lab parts and equipment required.
• Able to implement safe lab protocols and equipment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with MS Office programs required.

Responsibilities

• Sort, organize, inventory, and manage lab equipment.
• Enter equipment data into an inventory management system.
• Learn, use, and train on the inventory management system.
• Research equipment specifications and document them.
• Organize and manage lab spaces in the MSE department.
• Inspect lab spaces for safety and general issues.
• Keep lab spaces clean and well-maintained.
• Research, order, and set up laboratory equipment.
• Develop new methods involving AI to locate equipment for prototyping.
