Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking an Inventory Clerk for the Lab Administration to ensure accurate receipt of stock and non-stock items, matching to purchase orders, and proper labeling and transport within the Medical Center.

The role requires a high school diploma and 3 years of relevant experience; work is heavy and involves counts, labeling, and vendor coordination. A signing bonus may be available; final terms will be discussed in interview.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 3 years of relevant job experience required.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.

Responsibilities

• Receives all stock items into inventory.
• Receives all non-stock items into the medical center.
• Verifies quantities and matches receipts to purchase orders.
• Labels boxes with internal inventory control numbers.
• Attaches bar code labels to all patient charge items.
• Transports stock items to storeroom locations and routes.
• Maintains daily vendor fill rate and conducts inventory counts.
