Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando is seeking a materials management professional for the laboratory. You will oversee inventory, coordinate stocking, and ensure clean, compliant stock rooms across campus locations.

Responsibilities include scheduling couriers and lab staff, and supporting purchasing interactions with vendors to maintain supply flow. The role emphasizes adherence to safety and regulatory standards, effective communication, and cost-conscious stewardship of resources in a full‑time day

Qualifications

• Ability to follow established procedures in lab work areas.
• Ability to read English text and numbers; comprehend and problem-solve.
• Ability to learn and use computer applications and keyboards.
• Discretion with confidential information per AdventHealth guidelines.
• Ability to handle infectious/caustic materials safely and responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and coordinates inventory and stocking for laboratory campuses.
• Maintains in‑date inventory levels and lean stock rooms per standards.
• Schedules stock room clerks, couriers, and lab assistants; assigns tasks.
• Supports vendor interactions and internal purchasing within Clinical Laboratories.
