Central New Mexico Community College (CNM) seeks a Lab/Facilities Assistant to ensure labs and classrooms run smoothly and to provide instructional support to students and teachers.

Responsibilities include overseeing lab operations, setting up equipment, inventorying tools, assisting instructors with demonstrations and handouts, and offering basic computer and tech support while adhering to safety and OSHA standards.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 30 college hours with 9 in related discipline; grade B or better.
• At least 1 year in related field preferred.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds; able to climb ladders.
• Clean driving record.

Mansioni

• Oversees operation of laboratories to ensure safety and order.
• Set up advanced or technical equipment for classes.
• Receives and inventories tools and equipment per procedures.
• Assists instructors with materials, demonstrations and handouts.
• Assists students in safe use of equipment and vehicles as required.
• Provides computer and technical support for installation, operation and repair of equipment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Comply with safety regulations and OSHA standards.
