Responsibilities

• Receives specimens and verifies identification and test requests.
• Enters data into the Laboratory Information System and generates reports.
• Communicates with nursing staff, physicians and other hospital departments.
• Verifies demographics match between specimens and orders.
• Packages specimens for transport following IATA guidelines and restocks supplies.
